Hola, mi amigas!
This day was just like the one before; pleasant, sunny, and full of Sam. Today we went to turn in our enrollment forms for Sam's new school. He will attend this new one on Monday & Wednesday. I am, very naturally, quite anxious exposing him to a new environment where I won't be able to comfort him. I remember my mom dropping me off at daycare and I always got scared and instantly homesick. I hope this doesn't happen to Sam. At any rate, we got it done.
Then we went to Sam's Club to fill the Fire truck with gas; it might as well be a Fire truck, as it takes so much to fill it up. After that, Sam and I went to Petsmart to get Cat drops which cost a whopping 67 bucks! I say leave the cats outside- but James is very dissatisfied with that idea. It's almost as if the very idea would kill them! He is so funny when it comes to his cats.
Sam and I grilled outside while we played. We ate baked potatoes, broccoli, and chicken. It was awesome, as usual! Sam got an attitude when I mentioned bath & bed, so I had to dish out some extra love.
I write this all because it helps me to remember Sam as he grows up. I've tried to write bits down in my calendar, but typing is faster and more convenient. ;-) Sam, if you ever read this- you are the funniest child I have ever heard. You are in your bed trying to fall asleep, but you're saying "Goodnight baby 'Ohtotter' (helicopter)" I LOVE MY BABY!!
ANYWAY: Regarding our summer plans- I am very excited to be taking Sam to SeaWorld this summer. We are going to wait until "Granddad" comes out to visit, so he can go with us. Sam LOVES his Granddad! (And his Bohpah and Papa). I also want to take him camping and fishing; that should be so fun!
I am taking 17 hours this summer at school, God help me. I would love to slow down a bit, for Sam's sake, but I am anxious to get this done. Graduate school is fast approaching!
I'm out for now. Moral of the story: Sam is my SUN! I can't live without him, and my day would never be as bright. ;-)
