Today I took Sam to Galveston and it was a BLAST! He had SO much fun that he completely forgot that he hadn't had a nap all day. We left the house around 1pm, and got the the beach around 2pm. We were there for four and a half hours and had the best time. We laid on the beach blanket, he climbed all over me, we played in the sand, played in the waves, found a few shells, and fed the seagulls. He kept saying "by beach, by waves, by sand" the whole way home. I love my little man so much and I am just so happy to have days like this. If I didn't live to see tomorrow, that would be fine with me. I live for times like these with Sam. He makes me understand that we have only a short time on this Earth and we have to make the most of it! I love you, booger head!! :)

Oh yeah, yesterday (forgot to mention) we (James, Dad, Sam, and two others) went to the Crawfish Festival in Old Town Spring. It was so much fun! Sam was a good boy, tired, but a very good boy. He got to pet the animals at the petting zoo, and let me tell you- he was ecstatic about it. We ate all the bad foods you love to get at carnivals, the corn dogs, funnel cakes, beer, etc. Sam and I even rode on the Carousel. It was a lovely night out with James and the family. Hope to do it again soon! Sorry I don't have any pictures to post. Someone took my camera out of the bag to make room for the beer..... ;-)
